Connect Groups

Connect groups are a great way to meet and get to know others. These groups are not the weekly scheduled events that take place, but extra-curricular activities designed to encourage and build up. Warrenton Church of God has lately established two such groups and looks forward to more being fashioned in the near future. You don't have to be a member or go to our church to participate in these groups. Feel free to participate in the groups and enjoy the company. 

This is a book club that got its name from the favorite meal served the night that they meet. They meet at Rachel's Whistlestop Restaurant located in Norlina, NC. Every Tuesday they have fried chicken on the menu and our book club loves it. Besides sharing their meals together, the club mutually reads a book and have informal discussions about it.

This club is based upon simple connection. Participants in this group exchange contact information with each other. Each person then draws another participant and contacts them to connect. This is done either by inviting them over for supper at your home or by meeting to eat out somewhere. Every month this is done with someone new in the group.

Connect Groups help people build community. Our groups take place throughout the month, sometimes in different locations. Therefore, use this form to find out about the group that you're interested in. We'd love to have you join us!
